Locket Somdej Pra Jao Taksin Maharach Hlang Pong Ittije Pra Kring Chaiyawat, Takrut Ngern-Tong ud Look Namo - Chak Fa (blue face). Comes in original box from the Temple.

No case included. The rear face is stuffed full of Pong Ittije sacred powders, one silver Takrut, one Gold Takrut, a Look Namo magic spell, and a Pra Kring Buddha amulet (Pra Chaiyawat) inserted. A lot is packed into a small space in this amulet, typical of Locket type amulets indeed to fill them with the most sacred and valuable magical ingredients.

Special release Locket of Pra Jao Taksin Maharach Thai King - Wat Nak Klang is close by to the Temple of the Dawn in Bangkok.

This is the blue faced version (the lockets were released in blue or red).

3.5 Cm high, 2Cm wide. 1999 Lockets were made in this limited edition.

This Gumarn Tong Deity for Luck and Business sales, happiness in the household, has become legendary since Luang Phu Yaem continued the Lineage of Gumarn Tong making as the surviving Looksit of the Great Master Luang Por Dte Kong Ton (Wat Sam Ngam). These statues are in extreme demand and are becoming ever rarer and more difficult to find. The Gumarn Tong is of course from the Khun Phaen Legends, which i have written about in Issue One of 'Buddha Magic' Ezine.

Gumarn Tong Wat sam Ngam

Luang Por Dte

Wat Sam Ngam is perhaps the most famous temple for Gumarn Tong statues right now.

The temple is famous for both of the last 2 generations of Masters who are known for their Gumarn Tong statues at this temple;LP Dte and his protoge LP Yaem.

This particular statue is an older one made by the first of the two Masters,LP Dte.

Kumarn Tong is closely connected to the Thai story of Khun Chang Khun Phaen, who made one by removing the stillborn baby from the stomach  of his wife

The base of the Statue has an amulet made from sacred Kumarn powder in it.The statue was made mixing cement with various magical substances;

Earth from 7 cemeteries
Ashes of burnt bones taken from 7 Meru Chedis (relic Stupas)
Earth from 7 salt licks
Earth from 7 sacred caves
Earth from 7 river mouths
Earth from seven fields or gardens
Ashes from the burnt bones of 7 dead children
broken pieces of temple wall
