Pra Pim Ta Ruea Lek - Wat Mahatat Nakorn Sri Tammarat

Pra Pim Ta Ruea Lek - Wat Mahatat Nakorn Sri Tammarat (Run Burana Praboromatat part of a set of amulets made in one Putta Pisek blessing ritual in 2537 at Wat Mahatat in Nakorn Sri Tammarat. This is the very same temple of course, that made the most famous and original Jatukam Ramatep amulets, and the seat of the most important Jatukam Ramatep statue in Thailand.

Made with a very white alabaster like sacred powder cement for the Din Pao mixture, this amulet has a wonderful look of purity to it, as well as a high level of detailled craftsmanship in the filigraine ornamentation of the 'Sum' (arch) on the front face. The amount of detail in an amulet of this small size is incredible to be honest. Pra Ta Ruea Lek is the name of this Buddha.

The rear face declares the name of the edition, which is 'Run Burana Praboromatat', meaning 'edition to restore the Chedi' The funds from these amulets went to restore the Sacred Chedi at Wat Mahatat. The Chedi is also depicted.

This amulet is suitable for Ladies, due to its small size of abut 2.5 cm in Height, or for Men could be worn as one of the lateral amulets on a three or five amulet neck chain.
