The statues were made to raise funds for the restoration of the shrine room and to take care of the medical needs of the Sangha.

A historical piece from one of the most important of all the Royal appointed temples. Wat Boworn was where his Royal Highness his Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej (Rama 9) passed his time as a Buddhist Monk during his ordination.
