Luang Por Tong Glerng has less international fame than many other monks, but in fact is a well kept secret that LP Glerng was one of the looksit fo Luang or Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho and learned his magical kata and spellcasting methods under LP Parn, who was one of Thailands greatest Gaeji Ajarn Guru Monks ever, famous for the Buddha amulets riding on animals (Praputtajao pratap sathw) which Wat Bang Nom Kho is famous for. Although you may not have heard of Wat Chedi Hoi or LP Tong Glerng, if you see the pics below from the Wai Kroo ceremony you will see just how important a temple this is for Thai people of Nakorn Pathom.
